HOW THE CSA WORKS
Springdale Farm CSA
As a member of Springdale Farm you will receive the freshest possible, certified organic produce harvested by us and delivered to you!
The CSA season starts in early July, and continues until late October, for a total of 18 weeks. Following the 18-week season, the CSA carries on with a Late Fall share, comprised of three bi-weekly deliveries in late November and December. Then during the months January through March we offer home deliveries (or pick up at the farm) of all farm products. Find info below about our share sizes, delivery options, and other add-ons for your share. The shares are delivered in reusable totes to our pick-up locations.

Share sizes
Each share size description is approximate; how many each feeds depends totally on your eating habits!
Small Share
Designed to feed 1 adult (possibly 2), a typical Small Share will include 6-8 different vegetables, per delivery
Medium Share
Designed to feed 2 adults (possibly 3), a typical Medium Share includes 8-10 different vegetables, per delivery.
Large Share
Designed to feed 3 adults (possibly 4), a typical Large Share will include 10-14 portions of assorted vegetables.
Share frequency options
Each share is a commitment for the entire length of the season!
Every week
18 total totes.
The standard option which gets you a tote delivered every week for 18 weeks.
Every-other-week
9 total totes.
For those who only need a vegetable tote every two weeks.

Prices are calculated per delivery, and per season for each option.

Share Benefits
Purchase Farm Extras
Order “extra” items that we would include in your share, drawing from either our own extra veggies, or those sourced from other farms.
Delivery Flexibility
Vacation planned? Or perhaps you don’t need any veggies for one delivery? You can easily re-schedule, or put on hold, your delivery for that week.
Reduced Food Waste
Because the contents of your share will be customized according to your wishes (see CSA FAQ), you will have less veggies to toss or compost!
Payment Plans
You can either pay all at once, or you can pay for 4 deliveries at a time or, if you choose to get billed for 4 deliveries, your credit card will be automatically charged for the first 4 deliveries, and then upon completion of those 4 deliveries, you will automatically be charged for the next four deliveries, and so forth for the duration of the season.
Payment for the 3-delivery Late Fall Share will be only available as a payment-in-full basis, either by check or credit card.

Payment for the winter home deliveries will take place by credit card, and will be billed for each delivery separately, at the time that the a la carte orders are placed.
